Guide to Clan Tools of Communication

The most important organisational tool we have is the Agasa page.
- go to league.agasa.co.za
- register
- find Clan dBx in the clan directory
- join the clan (password: dark)
- This is the affirmation that you are part of the clan.

As a member of dBx you are required to have the following software:
- Mirc
- Xfire
- Goteamspeak

Guide to Mirc:

Once you have installed Mirc do the following:

- Add a new server. You do this by selecting File -> Select Server -> New Server.
- Next to the heading that says IRC Server type: za.shadowfire.org
- You will also have to fill out your details such as Nickname and Email (This can be found under Tools -> Options -> Connect
- Now connect to the server by pressing the button that resembles a bolt of lightning.
- You will confronted after a short momement with a channel window, here type in #dBx, you will now be connected to the channel.
- To become a registered member go to your server window (the main window at the top of your channel and server list on the right-hand side) and type "/ns register YourPassword YourEmail".
- You will be sent a confirmation email which you must copy and paste the activation text provided in it, into your mirc server window.
- From now on just type "/ns identify yourpassword" into any window or channel to identify your username.

#cod4pickup - Is a channel used for practising clan style games, connect to this channel and ask someone for help on how to play a pickup game.

Guide to Xfire

- Xfire is easy to use and helps to stay in contact with other people. Just download the program and follow the instructions.
- Once you have set up the program add ca51no to your friends list.
- You can find people's Xfire contacts in their Forum profiles.

Guide to Teamspeak

- Teamspeak is used during clan games to communicate as well as a verbal method of just generally communicating and socializing with other members in the clan.
- Teamspeak comes with instructions on how to set it up. Upon installation add the Saix teamspeak server as a server. Saix teamspeak details canbe found at games.saix.net.
- Once connected scroll down the channel list until you find dBx channel, connect to it by double-clicking on it and typing the password. Password = offense
